1. Acceptance of Terms
Downloading, installing, accessing, or using LaunchLens constitutes acceptance of these Terms to the extent permitted by applicable law. If the user does not agree to these Terms, they should stop using and uninstall the application.
2. Description of the Application
LaunchLens is an Android utility that helps users discover and launch supported activities made available through Android's application/activity mechanisms. LaunchLens does not claim root access, security bypass, unrestricted hidden activity access, or system privilege escalation.
3. Third-Party Applications
LaunchLens may interact with activities/components belonging to third-party applications. Alexa Modding Solutions does not control those applications. Third-party applications may change activities, remove activities, restrict activities, require permissions, behave differently across Android versions, or be unavailable on certain devices.
4. Android / OEM Limitations
Android Restrictions
LaunchLens cannot guarantee access to activities restricted by Android, OEMs, or third-party applications. Android controls application visibility/access. OEMs may modify Android behavior. Application developers control their own activities. Some activities may not be launchable or may be restricted.
LaunchLens cannot guarantee compatibility with every activity/device. Availability depends on Android, the target application, and OEM restrictions.
5. Permitted Use
Users may use LaunchLens for lawful purposes, including exploring available activities, launching supported activities, creating supported shortcuts, and managing their own LaunchLens workspace.
6. Prohibited Use
Users must not use LaunchLens to bypass security controls, obtain unauthorized access, interfere with another person's device, violate third-party application terms, circumvent authentication, exploit vulnerabilities, perform unlawful surveillance, distribute malware, damage systems, or violate applicable law. These restrictions apply regardless of whether LaunchLens itself provides the technical capability to perform such actions.
7. User Responsibility
Users are responsible for actions they initiate through LaunchLens. Users should understand an activity before launching it. Alexa Modding Solutions is not responsible for third-party activity behavior outside its control, subject to applicable law.
8. Local Workspace Data
Favorites, history, saved searches, shortcut presets, and settings may be stored locally. Users are responsible for the content they save. Local workspace data is stored in app-private storage according to the application's implementation.
9. Advertising
LaunchLens may display advertisements through Google Mobile Ads. No guarantee is made regarding specific advertisements, ad availability, revenue, or personalized/non-personalized behavior. Advertising is subject to applicable Google services and policies.
10. Third-Party Services
LaunchLens integrates Google Mobile Ads and Google User Messaging Platform. Third-party services are subject to their own terms and privacy policies. Users should review the applicable Google policies for additional information.
11. Intellectual Property
Alexa Modding Solutions owns or has rights to the original LaunchLens application materials to the extent applicable. Alexa Modding Solutions does not claim ownership of Android, Google, third-party applications, third-party trademarks, or open-source libraries. Third-party rights are acknowledged where appropriate.
12. Open-Source Software
LaunchLens may include third-party open-source software distributed under applicable open-source licenses. Notices and license terms for applicable components are provided separately where required.
13. Updates
LaunchLens may be updated to improve functionality, fix bugs, address security issues, maintain Android compatibility, update third-party SDKs, or comply with platform requirements. Features may change or be discontinued. Users are responsible for installing updates if they wish to continue using the application.
14. Availability
Uninterrupted availability is not guaranteed. Possible limitations include Android changes, OEM changes, third-party application changes, network availability, maintenance, and technical failures.
15. Disclaimer of Warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, LaunchLens is provided on an "as available" and "as is" basis without warranties that every feature or activity will function on every device or Android version. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any non-waivable statutory rights that apply to the user.
16. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Alexa Modding Solutions shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from the use or inability to use LaunchLens. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable law.
17. Indemnification
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the user agrees to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Alexa Modding Solutions from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising out of or in any way connected with the user's access to or use of LaunchLens, or the user's violation of these Terms, or the user's violation of any third-party rights.
18. Termination
Users may stop using LaunchLens at any time by uninstalling it. The developer may discontinue or modify the application. If users materially violate the Terms, their permission to use the application may end to the extent permitted by law.
19. Force Majeure
Alexa Modding Solutions shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to infrastructure failures, Android platform changes, third-party service outages, natural disasters, government actions, or widespread network failures. This clause does not relieve the developer of legally required obligations.
20. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by applicable law, subject to any mandatory rights and protections that apply to the user under the laws of their jurisdiction. This section is subject to update if the developer obtains formal legal advice specifying a governing jurisdiction.
