Welcome to DeviceLens: Phone Info ("the App," "the Application"), developed by AlexaMods Labs ("we," "us," "our," or "the Developer"). This Privacy Policy explains how the App handles information when you download, install, and use it on your Android device.
DeviceLens: Phone Info is a professional Android device information and hardware diagnostic tool designed to display device specifications, run hardware tests, and provide diagnostic information directly on your device. We built this App with privacy as a foundational principle: all diagnostic processing occurs locally on your device, and AlexaMods Labs does not operate any servers, databases, or backend infrastructure to collect, receive, or store your personal information.
By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to the terms described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with this Policy, please do not use the App.
This Policy is designed to comply with the Google Play Developer Program Policies, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), and other applicable privacy laws and regulations.
Information We Do Not Collect
AlexaMods Labs is committed to a privacy-first design. We want to be explicit and unambiguous about what we do not do:
- We do not collect, receive, store, or process any personally identifiable information (PII).
- We do not own, operate, rent, or maintain any remote servers or databases.
- We do not upload device information, hardware information, or diagnostic results to any external location.
- We do not require or offer user accounts, registration, or login functionality.
- We do not provide or use any form of cloud synchronization.
- We do not maintain any developer-side database of user data.
- We do not use any developer-implemented analytics services.
- We do not use Firebase or any Firebase-related services (including Firebase Analytics, Firebase Crashlytics, or Firebase Cloud Messaging).
- We do not track, profile, or monitor users in any way, on our own behalf.
- We do not sell, rent, trade, or share user data with third parties, because we do not collect any such data in the first place.
Any data referenced in §5 Third-Party Services below is collected exclusively by Google, under Google's own privacy practices, and is entirely separate from and outside the control of AlexaMods Labs.
Information Processed Locally
DeviceLens: Phone Info reads certain device hardware and system information solely for the purpose of displaying it to you within the App's user interface. This information may include, depending on the diagnostic feature being used:
- Device model, manufacturer, and hardware specifications
- Processor (CPU), memory (RAM), and storage information
- Battery status and health information
- Display and screen specifications
- Sensor data (accelerometer, gyroscope, proximity sensor, etc.)
- Network and connectivity status (Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, mobile network)
- Camera and microphone hardware test results
- Biometric hardware availability (not biometric data itself)
All of this information is read, processed, displayed, and discarded entirely within your device's local memory and storage. None of it is transmitted, uploaded, synced, or sent to AlexaMods Labs, our servers (which do not exist), or any developer-controlled system. Once you close the App or navigate away from a diagnostic screen, this data is not retained by us in any form.
Device Permissions
The App requests only the Android permissions strictly necessary to perform the specific, user-visible hardware testing and diagnostic features it offers. Every permission below is used exclusively to power its corresponding in-app feature and is never used to collect, store, transmit, or share your personal information with AlexaMods Labs.

You may grant or deny any of these permissions when the relevant feature requests them, and revoke previously granted permissions at any time in Android Settings. Denying a permission only limits its corresponding diagnostic feature — the rest of the App keeps working.
Third-Party Services
The App integrates the following third-party services, operated independently by Google LLC:
- Google AdMob — for displaying in-app advertisements
- Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) — for managing advertising consent under GDPR and other applicable regulations
- Google Play Services — for core Android platform functionality
When you use the App, Google may automatically collect certain information through these services, including:
- Advertising ID
- Device identifiers
- IP address
- Approximate location (where applicable, for ad relevance)
- Diagnostics and performance data
- Advertising interaction and performance information
This information is collected directly by Google under Google's own Privacy Policy. AlexaMods Labs does not receive, store, sell, or process this data.
Google AdMob
The App uses Google AdMob to display advertisements as a means of supporting the free availability of the App. AdMob may use the Advertising ID and other non-personal device identifiers to serve relevant ads and measure ad performance.
AlexaMods Labs does not have access to, and does not receive, any raw advertising data collected by AdMob beyond aggregated, anonymized performance reports (such as overall impression or revenue statistics) made available through the standard AdMob dashboard. We do not use AdMob data to identify, profile, or track individual users.
You may opt out of personalized advertising via Google Ads Settings, or through the in-app consent options provided by the User Messaging Platform, where applicable in your region.
Google Play Services
Google Play Services is a core component required for Android applications distributed through the Google Play Store to function correctly, including for app updates, crash reporting at the operating-system level, and device compatibility checks. Google Play Services operates independently of the App and is governed by Google's own Privacy Policy. AlexaMods Labs does not control, access, or process any data handled by Google Play Services.
User Messaging Platform (UMP)
The App uses Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) to present consent forms to users located in regions where such consent is legally required — including the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom — in compliance with the GDPR and Google's EU User Consent Policy.
Through the UMP consent form, you can choose whether to allow personalized advertising, and change your preference at any time via the App's privacy or consent settings menu, where available. UMP consent data is collected, stored, and managed by Google, not by AlexaMods Labs.
Data Security
Because AlexaMods Labs does not collect, transmit, or store any personal information or diagnostic data on any server, there is no developer-controlled database or backend system that could be subject to a data breach involving your personal information. All diagnostic data generated by the App exists only temporarily, in your device's local memory, and is not persisted or transmitted by us.
We nonetheless take reasonable steps in our software design and development practices to ensure the App does not inadvertently expose device information, and we encourage users to keep Android and Google Play Services up to date for the latest platform-level protections.
Data security practices related to Google AdMob, Google Play Services, or UMP are governed by Google's own security standards, outside the control of AlexaMods Labs.
Children's Privacy
The App is not directed at children under the age of 13 (or the applicable minimum age in your jurisdiction), and AlexaMods Labs does not knowingly collect personal information from children, consistent with COPPA and similar regulations.
Because the App does not collect personal information from any user regardless of age, no personal information belonging to children is collected, stored, or processed by AlexaMods Labs. Google AdMob and related Google services may apply their own age-appropriate advertising and data handling policies under Google's Families Policy and applicable law.
If you believe a child has provided personal information through the App in a manner inconsistent with this Policy, please contact us using the information in §14 so we can investigate.
User Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights regarding your personal information under the GDPR (EEA/UK users) and the CCPA (California residents), which may include the right to:
- Know what personal information is collected about you
- Access, correct, or request deletion of your personal information
- Object to or restrict certain processing
- Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information
- Data portability
- Withdraw consent at any time, where consent is the basis for processing
Because AlexaMods Labs does not collect any personal information through the App, we have no personal data of yours to provide, correct, delete, or transfer. Data such as advertising identifiers is collected and controlled solely by Google — manage it at myaccount.google.com.
Managing Permissions
You have full control over the permissions granted to the App at all times.
- Open your device's Settings app
- Navigate to Apps (or Application Manager)
- Select DeviceLens: Phone Info
- Tap Permissions
- Enable or disable individual permissions as desired
Disabling a permission only disables its corresponding diagnostic or hardware test feature — it won't affect the rest of the App.
Changes to this Privacy Policy
AlexaMods Labs may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the App's functionality, legal requirements, or third-party service terms. Any changes will be posted on this page with a revised "Last Updated" date at the top.
We encourage you to review this Policy periodically. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy. Material changes affecting your rights will, where required by law, be communicated through additional notice such as an in-app notification or App Store listing update.
