Terms of Service

By accessing, downloading, installing, or using GPS Speedometer Live: Trip Meter in any way, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you are using the App on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

These Terms apply to all versions of the App, whether obtained through Google Play or any other authorized distribution channel, and to all updates, upgrades, and new features added to the App over time.

GPS Speedometer Live: Trip Meter is a mobile utility application designed to provide users with real-time speed readings, trip distance tracking, average and maximum speed calculations, and related travel statistics using the device's built-in GPS and location sensors.

You must be at least 13 years of age to use the App. If you are between 13 and 18 years of age, you may only use the App under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to be bound by these Terms on your behalf. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you meet these eligibility requirements and that you possess a valid driving license where applicable, if you intend to use the App while operating a vehicle as a passenger-side reference only.

As a user of the App, you agree that you are solely responsible for:

• Complying with all applicable traffic laws, road signage, speed limits, and vehicle safety regulations in your jurisdiction, regardless of any data displayed within the App.
• Ensuring that your use of the App does not distract you from safely operating any vehicle.
• Verifying critical information, such as legal speed limits, through official and government-approved sources.
• Maintaining the security of your device and any account credentials associated with the App.
• Using the App in a manner consistent with these Terms and all applicable local, state, and national laws.

You acknowledge that GPS-based speed and location data displayed by the App is derived from your device's hardware and the Android operating system's location services, and is provided "as-is" without any guarantee of continuous availability or precision.

The Developer strongly discourages the use of any mobile application while a vehicle is in motion. Distracted driving is a leading cause of road accidents, and users assume full responsibility for their own safety and the safety of others while using the App in or around a vehicle.

While we strive to provide reasonably accurate speed, distance, and location data, the Developer makes no warranty, express or implied, regarding the accuracy, reliability, completeness, or timeliness of any data presented by the App. Speed values, trip distances, elevation readings, and average speed calculations may vary from actual values due to:

• GPS signal interference or unavailability (tunnels, dense urban areas, indoor use).
• Device hardware limitations or sensor calibration differences across manufacturers.
• Software rounding, sampling intervals, and location-update frequency.
• Atmospheric and environmental conditions affecting satellite signal reception.

The App is provided strictly for informational and recreational purposes and should never be used as evidence, for legal compliance, insurance claims, or any purpose requiring certified measurement accuracy.

To provide its core functionality, the App requests the following device permissions. Each permission is used solely for the purpose described below and never sold to third parties.

You may revoke any permission at any time through your device's system settings; however, doing so may limit or disable certain features of the App, including core speedometer functionality if the Location permission is revoked.

The App is offered free of charge and is supported, in part, by advertising. By using the App, you acknowledge and agree that:

• Advertisements may appear as banner ads, interstitial (full-screen) ads, native ads, or rewarded video ads within the App interface.
• An active internet connection is generally required to load and display advertisements.
• Advertising content is served by third-party advertising networks and is not directly created, endorsed, or controlled by the Developer.
• Clicking or interacting with an advertisement may redirect you to a third-party website or application outside the Developer's control.

The App uses Google AdMob, an advertising service provided by Google LLC, to display ads. AdMob may collect and use certain device and usage data, such as advertising identifiers, approximate location, and interaction data, to serve personalized or non-personalized advertisements in accordance with Google's own privacy and advertising policies.

The App may rely on Google Play Services for functionality such as location services, in-app updates, crash reporting, and analytics. Your use of Google Play Services is subject to Google's own Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, which are separate from and in addition to these Terms. The Developer is not responsible for the availability, performance, or data practices of Google Play Services.

The App may integrate with or link to third-party services, libraries, and SDKs (including but not limited to mapping providers, analytics tools, and advertising networks) to deliver its features. Each third-party service operates under its own terms and privacy practices. The Developer does not control and is not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of any third-party service integrated into or linked from the App.

You agree to use the App only for its intended, lawful purposes. You agree to use the App in good faith and to respect the rights of other users, the Developer, and third parties whose services are integrated into the App.

When using the App, you agree that you will not:

• Reverse-engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to extract the source code of the App, except where permitted by applicable law.
• Modify, adapt, translate, or create derivative works based on the App without prior written consent from the Developer.
• Use any automated system, bot, or script to interact with the App or its advertising components in a fraudulent manner, including artificially inflating ad impressions or clicks.
• Use the App for any illegal purpose, including in a manner that violates local traffic, safety, or transportation regulations.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App's backend systems, servers, or related infrastructure.
• Remove, obscure, or alter any proprietary notices, branding, or trademarks displayed within the App.
• Redistribute, resell, sublicense, or repackage the App without the Developer's express written permission.

All rights, title, and interest in and to the App, including its source code, design, user interface, graphics, logos, icons, and trademarks (collectively, the "Intellectual Property"), are and remain the exclusive property of Alexa Modding Solutions or its licensors. These Terms do not grant you any ownership rights in the App; you are granted only a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms.

The App may collect certain data necessary for its operation, including approximate or precise location data (used only during active use of the App), device identifiers, app usage statistics, and diagnostic or crash data. Trip history and preferences, where saved, are generally stored locally on your device unless you explicitly enable a cloud-sync feature, if offered.

The Developer may release updates, patches, or new versions of the App from time to time to improve functionality, fix bugs, enhance security, or introduce new features. By continuing to use the App, you agree to receive and install such updates. The Developer reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature of the App, temporarily or permanently, with or without prior notice.

These Terms may also be updated periodically. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

This limitation applies regardless of the legal theory on which a claim is based, including negligence, and even if the Developer has been advised of the possibility of such damages. The App is a supplementary informational tool only, and reliance on it for critical decisions is entirely at your own risk.

The App is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted or error-free operation. The Developer does not warrant that the App will meet your specific requirements, that defects will be corrected, or that the App is free of viruses or other harmful components.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Alexa Modding Solutions, its officers, employees, and affiliates from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of or in any way connected with your access to or use of the App, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any applicable law or the rights of a third party.

The Developer reserves the right to suspend, restrict, or terminate your access to the App, at its sole discretion and without prior notice, in the event of:

• Violation of any provision of these Terms.
• Fraudulent, abusive, or illegal use of the App, including ad-fraud or manipulation.
• Conduct that the Developer reasonably believes may cause harm to other users, the Developer, or third parties.
• Requirements imposed by applicable law, regulation, or a request from Google Play.

You may discontinue use of the App at any time by uninstalling it from your device.
