Privacy Policy

01 Introduction

Activity Launcher Pro: Activity Launcher ("Activity Launcher Pro", "we", "us", or "our") is an Android utility developed by AlexaMods Labs. This Privacy Policy explains how Activity Launcher Pro handles information when you use the application.

Activity Launcher Pro is designed as a local-first utility. It does not require users to create an account and does not operate a developer-controlled cloud service for storing workspace data.

02 Information We Handle

Activity Launcher Pro distinguishes between:

• Local workspace information — stored on your device in app-private storage.
• Third-party processing — information processed by Google Mobile Ads and Google User Messaging Platform for advertising and consent purposes.

We do not collect, transmit, or store your local workspace information on AlexaMods Labs servers.

03 Information Stored Locally

Activity Launcher Pro uses the Room Persistence Library with a local database (launch-lens.db) and Preferences DataStore for settings. Local workspace information may include:

• Favorites
• History
• Saved searches
• Shortcut presets
• Application settings

This information remains in app-private local storage on your device. It is not uploaded to any developer-operated cloud service.

04 Account Information

Activity Launcher Pro does not require users to create or sign in to a Activity Launcher Pro account.

There is no Activity Launcher Pro account system. Therefore, there is no account deletion workflow. Google's account deletion requirement applies when apps allow account creation. Activity Launcher Pro does not provide this capability.

05 Advertising

Activity Launcher Pro integrates Google Mobile Ads to display advertisements. Advertising involves processing by Google that may include device and account identifiers, IP address, and usage information for purposes such as ad delivery, fraud prevention, and measurement.

This is distinct from Activity Launcher Pro's local workspace processing. Local workspace data is not used by Activity Launcher Pro for advertising targeting.

06 Google Mobile Ads

Activity Launcher Pro uses the Google Mobile Ads SDK. According to Google's current disclosures, the SDK may process:

• IP address
• Device and account identifiers
• Diagnostic and usage information
• Advertising identifiers

Processing is governed by Google's privacy policies and user controls. Activity Launcher Pro does not control the specific data categories processed by the SDK beyond what Google documents.

07 Google User Messaging Platform

Activity Launcher Pro uses Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) to present and manage applicable privacy and advertising consent choices. UMP enables users to make consent decisions where required or appropriate under applicable law.

Activity Launcher Pro does not claim universal GDPR certification or automatic compliance in every jurisdiction. Consent flows are provided through Google's UMP implementation.

08 Third-Party Services

Activity Launcher Pro integrates the following third-party services:

• Google Mobile Ads SDK — for displaying advertisements
• Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) — for consent management

Activity Launcher Pro does not integrate Firebase Analytics, Facebook SDK, Mixpanel, Crashlytics, OneSignal, Sentry, or any custom analytics or backend services unless they appear in the final release AAB.

09 Network Communications

Activity Launcher Pro uses network connectivity for applicable third-party advertising and privacy/consent services. Activity Launcher Pro does not claim to be a completely offline application.

Local workspace information is not synced to any developer-operated cloud service. Network activity is limited to the Google Mobile Ads and UMP SDKs.

10 Android Permissions

Activity Launcher Pro declares the following permissions in its Android manifest:

Activity Launcher Pro does not declare Camera, Location, Contacts, Microphone, Photos, or Storage runtime permissions unless they are present in the final release manifest.

11 Package Visibility

Activity Launcher Pro uses a targeted Android package visibility configuration via the <queries> element in the manifest. This targets MAIN/LAUNCHER activities for the purpose of discovering launchable activities.

Activity Launcher Pro does not claim unrestricted access to all installed applications or hidden activities. Package visibility is limited to the declared query configuration.

12 Activity and Application Information

Activity Launcher Pro can interact with activities and components exposed through Android's standard application and activity mechanisms. Availability of any specific activity depends on:

• Android version
• OEM configuration
• Target application's manifest settings (exported/restricted state)
• Required permissions
• Application updates

Activity Launcher Pro does not guarantee that every discovered activity will launch successfully.

13 Backup and Data Extraction

Activity Launcher Pro includes backup_rules.xml and data_extraction_rules.xml configuration files. The audited configuration permits backup of workspace database and settings while excluding cache and temporary custom icon files.

Actual Android/OEM backup behavior can vary. Activity Launcher Pro does not promise identical backup behavior across all devices and Android versions.

14 Data Retention

Activity Launcher Pro local data: Remains on the user's device until removed through available application or Android mechanisms (clear data, uninstall, or in-app deletion where available).

Third-party service data: Retention of data processed by Google Mobile Ads and UMP is governed by Google's applicable policies and user controls. Activity Launcher Pro does not control or promise deletion from Google's systems.

15 Data Deletion

Users may delete local Activity Launcher Pro data through:

• In-app deletion controls where available
• Android Settings → Apps → Activity Launcher Pro → Storage → Clear data
• Uninstalling Activity Launcher Pro

There is no "account deletion" workflow because there is no Activity Launcher Pro account system. For data processed by Google advertising services, users should use Google's privacy and ad controls.

16 Children's Privacy

Activity Launcher Pro is a general Android utility application. It is not specifically directed at children and does not knowingly use the application to collect personal information directly from children under applicable age thresholds.

Activity Launcher Pro does not claim COPPA certification or child-safe certification.

17 Privacy Rights

Depending on applicable law, users may have rights such as access, correction, deletion, objection, restriction, and consent withdrawal where applicable. These rights depend on the specific jurisdiction and applicable legal framework.

Activity Launcher Pro does not appoint a Data Protection Officer.

18 Security

Activity Launcher Pro stores workspace information in app-private local storage. Network communications with Google services use secure transport where supported by the SDKs.

Activity Launcher Pro applies reasonable security practices. However, no application or service can be guaranteed to be 100% secure, impossible to hack, or immune to all threats. Users should maintain appropriate device security.

19 International Users

Activity Launcher Pro is distributed globally through the Google Play Store. Users outside the developer's jurisdiction should be aware that data may be processed in jurisdictions where privacy laws differ from those in their country of residence.

20 Changes to This Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated when Activity Launcher Pro's data practices, SDK integrations, permissions, or legal requirements change. The effective date and last updated date will be revised accordingly.

Users should review this policy periodically. Continued use of Activity Launcher Pro after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy to the extent permitted by applicable law.
